55. Peter Hayton

Peter Hayton RMS, HS, FGSA, GCF
The images he paints are mostly based around the marine world. Peter loves to paint the freedom and joy found within his subjects, that include, boat and coastline scenes and other water based subjects. Sunsets and Sunrises are one of Peter’s passions; he can often be found sat on his boat in Poole Harbour, or off the coast, waiting for the exact moment to snap them up in all their glory. Peter finds them the most evocative of all the things he paints and gets a real thrill in watching them come alive as each wash is laid onto the paper.
As well as his Marine work, Peter is now painting African Wildlife in miniature. He is very lucky to be working with Edward Selfe Photographic Safaris and hoping to raise money for the Conservation South Luangwa Charity with the sale of his growing range of African Wildlife fine art prints. Other strings to Peter’s artistic painting bow include cars and general vehicles, houses and buildings, pets and animals, military aircraft and military personnel and scenes.
