54. Sara Lee


Mainly taking inspiration from the natural world, Sarah works in a variety of mediums, including acrylic, watercolour and graphite, choosing the style, along with the technique she feels will best capture the intrinsic essence of her subject, to do it most justice.

She has exhibited throughout Britain in man group exhibitions including those of the Hilliard Society, Royal Miniature Society, NAPA, SOFA, TWASI NEWA, SWLA, MIWAS, SWA, RSMA, RSBA and the Welsh National Eisteddfod. She has been shortlisted for The WWF Search for an Environmental Sculptor, The BP Portrait Award, and The Welsh Artist of the Year Award. In addition to receiving ‘The Artist’ Award, The Adrian Henri Memorial Award and the Kenneth Hodgson Memorial Award from NAPA, she has also won TWASI’s ‘Lady Scott’ and ‘David Shepherd’ Awards.

She takes private and public commissions and has her work held in Falmouth Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection and the Sue Lee Collection of Miniatures.
